Christopher Coy designed the modern house “upside down” – with the guest bedrooms on the first level and the primary suite, living room, kitchen, and dining room on the second. “Beach meeting ocean is an experience involving all of the senses,” Coy says. “The house is designed to invite these sensory experiences…”

Interior
The interiors are swathed in cream and beige, with light wood and limestone floors throughout. In the open concept living and dining room, the strategically minimal palette feels rich thanks to Behun’s masterful layering of textures—fluffy Moroccan rugs, ceramics handmade by local artists, nubby upholstery, chunky knit throws, and showstopping chairs with long silky fringe.
